Brooke Santiago, Chair of the Delaware GeoEducation Committee presents the 2016 GIS in Education Award to Kymberlie Kelly of DTCC, Stanton Campus.

Kymberie KellyMs. Kymberlie collaboratively worked to provide a panel of participants to form a GIST advisory committee. This committee held meetings and provided feedback for the Delaware Technical and Community College to help develop a Geographic Information Systems Technology (GIST Associate of Applied Science Degree Program.) Kym also has assisted the GIS in Education committee with K-12 Workshops and related GIS technology presentations. She is well deserving of the recognition for the volunteer hours she has provided to the GIS community in Delaware and Maryland.

To say that Kym Kelly has helped in furthering the Geographic Information System (GIS) technologies in the Delmarva Community is an understatement.  Mrs. Kelly has worked to assimilate GIS into the engineering curriculum at the Stanton campus of Delaware Technical Community College (DTCC).
